Financial Systems Manager

Our client is a highly regarded international law firm with offices across Europe and the Far East. The firm is about to undertake a large scale upgrade of its Global Elite Enterprise Practice Management system and is looking to recruit a Financial Systems Manager with a background in the legal sector to assume full responsibility for developing and managing the system to ensure ongoing business requirements are met. Reporting to the Head of Accounts, the post holder will be responsible for managing the Finance Systems team which works along-side its accounts and ICT Teams. There is currently a team of five.The firm is using Elite Enterprise in four of its offices and they are looking to expand the usage of the system to all its officers across Europe and the Far East. The post-holder will play a central role in driving forward the migration to Elite Enterprise in all its offices and subsequent development of Elite and related software.The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (or be qualified by experience) and with experience of the implementation and development Elite Enterprise upgrades with law firm experience in an international firm. International Law Firm with offices worldwide requires a Development Manager who will be based in their Yorkshire offices. You will be working in a very agile environment, running multiple project simultaneously. You will be responsible for 6 programmers & a project Manager. You will communicate at senior level and translate business requirements into IT requirements. You will have full responsibility of continual development of the case management system, practice management system, document management system and CRM system. You will be analysing the use of the bespoke portfolio of systems and deciding on the long term strategies. A key area of the role will be structuring long term vision & re-defining the development requirements & in the production of the groups IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture, that defines the overall vision for all IT systems, plus researching and assessing emerging technologies making recommendations for their adoption where suitable. The ideal candidate will be working in a similar role for a top Law Firm, and have strong Project Management and Programme Management skills.
